Carrying Forward the Spirit of Craftsmanship to Boost Enterprise Development—A Field Report on the Visit by Chairman Cao and His Delegation from the County Federation of Trade Unions on April 2nd

On April 2, a delegation including Chairman Cao from the Xinxiang County Federation of Trade Unions, Chief Chen from the County Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Chief Wang from the County Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, and Chairman Xia from the Zhaipo Town Federation of Trade Unions visited our company for a research visit. The delegation focused on conducting on-site visits to the candidates nominated for this year’s “Xinxiang Craftsman” award and engaged in in-depth discussions with them.
Chairman Cao provided a detailed introduction to everyone regarding the eligibility criteria for applying to become a Xinxiang Craftsman and the selection standards set by counties and cities. Chairman Cao emphasized that cultivating outstanding craftsmen is an undertaking that receives great attention from top to bottom. Each “Xinxiang Craftsman” must not only possess solid **technical skills** but also demonstrate a spirit of dedication—willing to play the role of a supporting leaf. They must truly immerse themselves in their craft, leveraging their **expertise** to help the company overcome technical challenges and contribute to nurturing talent for society.
Subsequently, Wang Dianyong, the company’s deputy general manager of production, introduced himself in detail and presented a work report to the leaders, drawing on his own practical experience. Chen Qiang, section chief of the county human resources and social security bureau, focused particularly on Mr. Wang’s daily work.
We posed questions regarding the certification of vocational skills. Chief Chen emphasized that the recognition of vocational skill levels will be a key focus of the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau’s work in the future. As a leading pharmaceutical enterprise in the county, Zhongjie Pharmaceutical is encouraged to place greater emphasis on skill certification in its future development, aligning with the company’s growth needs. Mr. Wang, as the company’s **technician and assessor**, is urged to devote more energy to talent development and thus boost regional talent cultivation.
After gaining a deep understanding of Mr. Wang’s achievements and honors, Chairman Cao remarked that while Mr. Wang boasts extensive credentials and accolades in skills and craftsmanship, he still has some room for improvement in innovation and R&D. Chairman Cao expressed the hope that in his future work, Mr. Wang will continue to explore relentlessly through his own high-level qualities and drive development with innovation. He suggested that the company could establish an innovation studio, where a dedicated team could conduct in-depth research and leverage innovative intelligence to transform the company’s current situation and promote its sustained and steady growth. Following this, Chairman Cao provided detailed explanations on provincial and municipal policies related to enterprise innovation and R&D—including application procedures and reward mechanisms—and offered guidance on enterprises’ next steps in their development plans. Moreover, Chairman Cao expressed strong confidence in the future development of Zhongjie Pharmaceutical, encouraging the company to embrace innovative development. He also expressed his wish that, in the future, Zhongjie Pharmaceutical could join forces with pharmaceutical companies from counties and cities to organize skill competitions and technical contests, thereby jointly boosting the vigorous development of the pharmaceutical industry in the Central Plains region and embarking on a new journey.
