Henan Zhongjie Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. was founded in 1992 and is located in Xinxiang City, a historic city in northern Henan Province—situated at the southern foot of the Taihang Mountains to the west and adjacent to the ancient course of the Yellow River to the east. As a pharmaceutical enterprise primarily engaged in the production of oral formulations of both traditional Chinese and Western medicines, the company has a registered capital of 52.8 million yuan and fixed assets totaling 200 million yuan (excluding intangible assets), covering an area of 60,000 square meters. The company currently employs over 400 people, among whom 204 hold college diplomas or higher, accounting for 50.7%. After years of steady development, the company has established itself as a large-scale, integrated pharmaceutical manufacturing base encompassing research and development, production, sales, and logistics. In addition to being recognized as the Henan Province Tongguan Teng Anti-Cancer Engineering Technology Research and Development Center, the company has also been successively awarded the titles of Henan Province High-Tech Enterprise, Henan Province “Specialized, Refined, Distinctive, and Innovative” Enterprise, and Provincial Enterprise Technology Center. The company primarily engages in the production and sale of oral pharmaceutical products covering eight major therapeutic categories: antipyretic and analgesic agents, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular drugs, anti-infective agents, digestive system medications, circulatory system drugs, anti-tumor agents, nervous system drugs, and vitamin supplements. It holds over 60 approved drug registration numbers from various countries. Among these, 28 products are available online (17 chemical drugs and 11 traditional Chinese medicine products). Over the past three years, the company has developed a number of high-tech products protected by independent intellectual property rights, including Dimethicone Tablets, Betahistine Hydrochloride Tablets, Cimetidine Tablets, Gliclazide Tablets, Chitong Xiaoyanling Granules, and Lianpu Shuangqing Tablets. Among these, Indapamide Tablets, Betahistine Hydrochloride Tablets, and Gliclazide Tablets have already passed the consistency evaluation and demonstrate groundbreaking competitiveness in the market.
The new drug Tongguan Teng Oral Liquid (formerly known as Xiaoai Ping Oral Liquid) was designated as a high-tech product by the Henan Provincial Department of Science and Technology in 2005. The Chinese medicinal products Lianpu Shuangqing Tablets and Chitong Xiaoyanling Granules have been listed as nationally protected Chinese medicinal varieties, and Shenjin Huoluo Pills have been included as a key supported project under the Henan Province 2005 Torch Program. On average, annual R&D expenditure accounts for approximately 5% of total sales revenue.
