[Ingredients]
This product is a compound preparation, containing 25 mg of pentoxifylline citrate and 300 mg of ammonium chloride per 10 mL. Excipients include: sucrose, sodium benzoate, pineapple flavoring, etc.

This product is a clear, viscous liquid, red or dark brown in color; it has a fragrant aroma and a sweet, slightly salty and bitter taste.

[Dosage and Administration]
Oral administration. Adults: 10 mL per dose, 3–4 times daily. Children aged 5 years and older: 2.5–5 mL per dose, 2–3 times daily.

Occasional reactions such as constipation, mild headache, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth, nausea, abdominal distension, and skin allergy may occur.

[Pharmacological Effects]
The propranolol citrate in this product exhibits central and peripheral antitussive effects, with an antitussive potency equivalent to one-third that of codeine. In addition to its direct inhibitory effect on the respiratory center of the medulla oblongata, it also demonstrates mild atropine-like effects, which can relax spastic bronchial smooth muscle and reduce airway resistance. Ammonium chloride reflexively increases the secretion of respiratory mucosal glands, thereby facilitating the expulsion of sputum and aiding in the clearance of viscous mucus.
